Kingham Parish Council is within the Witney Constituency.

Our constituency MP, is Robert Courts.

Our district is West Oxfordshire District Council.

Who We Are

The Parish Council is made up of 8 Councillors who have been elected or co-opted to public office.  Our Chairman is Keith Hartley and Vice Chairman, Andrew Unwin.  The other Councillors are William Blomefield, Eleanor Campbell, John Dewar, Jane Hart, Richard Sale and Tasha Hunter.  Our Councillors come from all areas of the village and are approachable to discuss matters which concern you.  All members of the village are welcome to attend any Parish Council Meeting.  If you would like to address an issue, you are more than welcome to do so, in the Public Participation section during the meeting.

Kingham is twinned with the Village of Pont-a-Marcq near Lille in France.

Schools and amenities

Kingham Village has a county Primary School – Kingham Primary School and also has an independent Secondary school – Kingham Hill School which is 1.5 miles north of the Village.  Secondary Schools close to Kingham are, Chipping Norton School, Burford School, and The Cotswold School.

Kingham has two playgrounds, one at The Green and the other next to the football field on New Road.  The Kingham All Blacks are the local football club, which have their club house next to the field on New Road.  Kingham is also fortunate to be serviced by 2 pubs/restaurants – The Kingham Plough, and The Wild Rabbit.  We also have a British Legion Club.  The local Church is St Andrew’s Church on Church Street, Kingham.  Kingham also has a village shop.   Kingham also has a very active Events Committee that are always looking for volunteers, if you would like to help out, their contact details can be found in the Kingham Newsletter or click the facebook link below.
